Principal Business Systems Analyst
Job Description

Candidate must be a self-starter, who can work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge, skills and qualifications -
- • Serve as a key business systems analyst team member for HRIS on the implementation of business systems, processes and activities throughout the HR functional domain.• Duties include gathering business requirements, creating design documents, performing system configurations, building system integrations, performing QA tests, documenting test scenarios, training users and facilitate testing cycles with the user base.• Collaborate with HR and other cross functional teams to assist in defining roadmaps, analyze business benefits and/or operational efficiencies, map business processes, implement creative and effective solutions. Ensure processes, systems, and functionality meet the business and end-user needs.• Work as a lead analyst in implementing new functionality and provide support to HR functional areas of Core HR, Compensation, Benefits and Payroll in Workday and Ceridian Dayforce systems.• Implement system integrations across HCM systems and other systems, internal as well as external.• Work within a broad range of analyst roles and responsibilities on various projects. Lead systems and process improvements, and enhancements.• Deliver measurable results to maximize business efficiencies in HR Information Systems and end-user communities.• Work on HR systems: Workday (primary), Ceridian Dayforce and Oracle.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, BI and Analytics, Business Analysis or equivalent
Number of Years of Work Experience: 7-9+ years of professional experience working with HCM applications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience as an HCM Functional lead on a major implementation, including experience facilitating analysis, requirement gathering and design working sessions with business users.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment within the Business System's group as well as other groups within the IT and business organizations.
- Proven track record of delivering HCM solutions. Experience with Workday or similar HCM applications
- Self-starter, who can work independently, follows through and completes tasks with a minimum of oversight
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Demonstrate creativity and flexibility to manage complex tasks and develop innovative solutions
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills (Written & Spoken); capable of explaining procedures clearly and writing technical and end-user documentation.
- Experience managing small scale and/or process improvement projects utilizing project management skills and methodologies.
- Plan and execute testing methods to ensure functionality works as expected.
- Exhibit flexibility in handling multiple tasks in this fast-paced IT environment.
- Ability to partner effectively with diverse contributors across multiple teams (People Operations, Benefits, Payroll) and influence without authority to promote alignment and gain consensus.
- Ability to interact remotely with colleagues in various geographical locations and countries
- Critical attention to detail and ability to maintain detailed project documentation.
