Role Summary
The Principal Cloud Engineer's focus area will be IAM, API Management and Security. This Principal Security Engineer will be instrumental in the creation of our core software platform's Identity and Access Management solution. This Cloud Security Engineer role will be hybrid in our Boston office or can be based in Troy, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities

• SME across various IAM topics as it relates to various cloud deployments.
• Drive the implementation of Authentication and Authorization reference architectures for the cloud deployments.
• Bring in best practices to the IAM deployments to make sure cloud deployments are efficient.
• Develop effective architecture solutions that not only satisfy immediate project requirements but also deliver a coherent, reusable, reliable and phased architecture to help the business grow and change while aligning to strategic vision.
• Create, maintain, and align the Firm's Information Security policies and standards with industry best practices and business needs in the adoption of cloud services and technologies.
• Manage the successful technical delivery of Information Security projects and services for our customers by working directly with product teams.
• Take part in Identity and Access Management enterprise governance processes and drive IAM standards adoption.
• Review technical security roadmaps related to cloud security and IAM within a cloud security context.
• Deliver technical security configuration architecture expertise in implementing cross-organizational information sharing.
• Develop solutions and recommendations for issues caused by process challenges, emerging threats, and technology changes.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
• 10-12 years of experience is a must with 4-5 years in the IAM space.
• Experience architecting IAM solutions across cloud providers and with cloud technologies like SAML, OpenID, OAuth, etc.
• Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), and server virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Directories, SSO, Federation, Delegated administration, API gateways, SOA services. Thorough understanding of API management.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture with hands on experience working on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models.
• Good knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Expert level experience in Cloud Authentication and Access management Services.
• Expert level experience in cloud solution development with Azure, AWS, Google, or other relevant cloud solution architectures.
• Must have working knowledge and understanding of networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, load balancers, firewalls etc.
• A security industry certification is desired in any of the areas: CISSP, SSCP, CISM, SANS GSEC, ECSA.
• A strong self-starter with the ability to execute.
