We’re looking for an experienced and resourceful compensation expert to help us deliver and maintain a market competitive total rewards experience to Leaguers. As the Principal of Compensation you report to the AVP, Total Rewards & People Operations. Within this role, you would be working with all departments and across all roles and locations at League. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be passionate about total rewards. In this role, you will accelerate your growth as an expert in compensation, establishing a position of incredible influence at the cutting edge of digital health.Ā 

In this role, you will:Ā 

  • Benchmark jobs against market data to determine competitive ranges for each position on a bi-annual basis and produce a detailed report with findings to management
  • Conduct extensive internal equity and diversity equity analyses on a bi-annual basis
  • Assess jobs and their respective requirements to determine accurate mapping to benchmark and appropriate salary range
  • Track and report on key metrics on a quarterly basis that speak to offer and total rewards competitiveness (ex: offer acceptance rates)
  • Conduct ad-hoc benchmarking analyses as required by business request
  • Conduct analyses and produce recommendations and documentation for executive level pay
  • Help prepare materials for the quarterly compensation committee at the board level
  • Evaluate and implement job analysis instruments and materials
  • Challenge traditional compensation practices and philosophies by applying ā€˜outside the box’ thinking and conducting extensive researchĀ 
  • Keep up to date knowledge on and advise internally on applicable provincial/state and federal employment regulations and compensation policies

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a compensation expert
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency working with and analyzing large data setsĀ 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with both Canadian and US compensation data, experience in additional geographies will be considered an asset
