Principal Consultant - Hurricane Disaster Recovery Experience

• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with Management Consulting Services. The functional responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Must be an expert in projects related to implementation and management activities for the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBR-DR) programs.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Hurricane Disaster Recovery, FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency
• Must have experience in support of the CDBG-DR Program, including but not limited to developing, maintaining, and updating the project documents and documentation:
• Project charter
• Project management plan
• Project status reports – weekly executive reports
• Project risk and issues log
• Master Project schedule
• Project schedule – program specific (e.g., Voluntary Home Buyout program)
• Project tracking sheets/log; and
• Any other documents necessary for the efficient, effective management of the overall program or any specific program.
• Must be certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through a nationally accreditation organization (e.g., The Project Management Institute)
• Resume must include a detailed list of projects demonstrating where the individual has previously provided similar services.
• Providing senior-level interface with the Customer and managing daily operations
• Ensuring the timely performance and completion of all obligations
• Organizing and directing the overall performance of the Customer
• Formulating organizational strategy and directing major strategic initiatives
• Ensuring that goals and objectives are accomplished within budgetary parameters
• Developing and maintaining Customer relationships
• Assisting on large, complex or multi-discipline engagements
• Allocating financial and human resources and material assets
