The Role: Principal, Content

As the Principal, Content, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Gemini’s narrative and brand presence. With a strong understanding of our institutional and retail audiences, as well as
rapidly evolving crypto market dynamics, you will develop content strategies that drive customer engagement, loyalty, and ultimately, business growth.

You will translate insights and questions from customers into content that enhances their experience using Gemini and interacting with the broader crypto ecosystem. Your efforts will
help Gemini communicate effectively with key audiences as we expand internationally, navigate a rapidly evolving crypto regulatory landscape, and grow our product offerings.

You will collaborate closely with your colleagues on the communications team and cross- functionally throughout the organization to uphold Gemini’s voice and messaging, ensuring
consistency across all customer touch-points.

In addition to leading content creation efforts, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, deriving insights, and refining strategies to optimize content
effectiveness, including SEO. Your analytical approach will guide data-driven decision making, adapting Gemini’s content strategy to reflect evolving market trends and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Craft dynamic and engaging content across multiple platforms, including the Gemini website and blog, to attract and retain both new and existing audiences.
• Collaborate closely with the Communications team to create content for diverse purposes such as product announcements, institutional partnerships, global expansions, explainers, and thought leadership pieces.
• Partner with senior leadership at Gemini to develop technical and engineering content that resonates with our audience
• Support the Nifty Gateway team, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gemini, by producing blog content and other materials to elevate the marketplace.
• Liaise with design, legal, and product teams on a global scale to ensure content aligns seamlessly with Gemini's overarching objectives and messaging
• Offer writing and proofreading assistance to various teams across the organization on an as-needed basis.
• Collaborate with communications colleagues to develop and maintain a comprehensive content strategy and ensure the content calendar is up-to-date.
• Conduct research and compose thought leadership pieces for publication across Gemini's owned channels as well as select media outlets.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years proven experience in a content role at a tech, finance, or crypto company, or equivalent experience at a publication.
• Passion for crypto and blockchain technology.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage the content creation process with senior stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of content and SEO best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative content ideas.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform content strategies.
• Familiarity with industry trends and a passion for staying abreast of the latest developments.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $158,000 - $221,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
