Principal, Customer Marketing
Job Description
As Principal, Customer Marketing your mission is to maximize adoption, engagement, and League’s customer impact through strategic marketing initiatives.Â
You will partner with your Customer Success colleagues to build meaningful relationships with customers (businesses in variable markets) by delivering innovative marketing solutions that address complex problems. You are a marketing expert who lives in the detail and can communicate ideas and solutions in a clear and compelling way.Â
In this role, you’ll work arm-in-arm with League’s Member Marketing and Design teams to conceptualize, produce, and measure best-in-class marketing campaigns and collateral that increases awareness, loyalty, and retention with both customers and end-users.Â
You are a strategic thinker with a design and digital marketing skill set who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where every day is different. You are a strong communicator who is excited by new opportunities to get creative, experiment, and exceed customer expectations.

In this role, you will:- Work with cross-functional teams to build rapport with customers in order to increase renewals, referrals, and user adoption/engagementÂ
- Develop and present creative, strategic marketing solutions to customers that help solve for complex problemsÂ
- Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to build, execute, and measure omni-channel customer campaigns, including but not limited to, email campaigns and push notificationsÂ
- Project manage campaigns and communicate with internal and external stakeholders for reviews and approvals
- Design and manage library of up-to-date marketing resources for the Customer Success team (ex. decks, brochures, posters); continuously work with team to identify and fill gapsÂ
- Support Customer Success leadership with presentation and collateral design for key customer touchpoints and initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams on new concepts and initiatives that will impact League customers
- Identify scalable marketing solutions and opportunities to experiment (A/B test) to inform future customer marketing initiatives
- Contribute to internal and external process design and improvement to support League’s growth and customer satisfaction
- BA, MBA or equivalent
- Strong Design Skills - Figma, Adobe Suite, Google Slides
- Strong Email Marketing and Journey Building ExperienceÂ
- Experience building, testing, and deploying campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
