As a Principal Data Analyst in the Clinical Solutions - Data Operations team. You will have responsibility for supporting the strategic delivery of the Data & Analytics agenda, driving the team towards success. You will be proactive in taking accountability of Data & Analytics initiatives to improve end-to-end business process activity, working closely with your team, management, leadership and stakeholders. Working Schedule:

Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.

Primary Responsibilities of the Principal Data Analyst:

• Develop data-driven solutions for the monitoring, tracking & reporting of critical business processes for the Clinical Risk Adjustment & Quality business.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Product, Technology, Data Engineering and business operations stakeholders
• Introduce new and innovative data-driven ideas to promote growth, value & innovation, these include GenAI for Data Analytics.
• Use Critical Thinking behaviors to drive continuous improvement of Operational Key Performance Indicators.
• Adopt and promote our culture, principles, and Common Language of Leadership (CLL) to support a productive & positive work environment.

Required Qualifications of the Principal Data Analyst:

• Degree qualification in accredited University.
• Advanced experience in data analysis and querying using programming, primarily SQL and/or Python.
• Advanced experience in data workflow design and data modelling to drive continuous improvements in data operations.
• Excellent analytical reporting skills with advanced experience developing Data Visualizations using BI Visualization tools.
• Ability to analyze data, drive to root cause issue, identify trends, problem solve and provide key recommendations based on analysis.
• Applied knowledge of GenAI for Data Analytics to develop predictive analytic solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Healthcare, primarily US Healthcare, clinical Risk & Quality.
• Additional accredited qualifications in data analytics.
• Working knowledge of six-sigma or similar business process methodology.
