Job Title - Senior Data Scientist

Location - Remote !!

Master DATA SCIENTIST 12+ Years

Job Responsibilities• Understand and execute wide range of client requirements in terms of Gen AI, machine learning, statistical analysis, algorithm development, analysis planning etc.• Delivery and project management of AI/ML solutions• Presentation of results to clients and leading client engagements• Coordinating and working closely with offshore & extended teams to ensure delivery• Understanding the Current State & Work in coordination of Use Case Prioritization.• Work in Foundation/Discovery Phase Findings and provide client presentation.

Job Requirements• Strong statistical and computational background• Deep understanding and proven expertise in AI/ML concepts:

o Data preprocessing and transformation

o Feature engineering

o Supervised/Unsupervised Learning

o Model validation and fine tuning

o Algorithm design, implementation & review

o NLP, Deep Learning• Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.• Strong multi-tasking skills• Ability to guide the Cognizant & customer teams, very strong stakeholder management

Technical Skills• Very strong AI/ML knowledge to handle overall solution/architectural review.• Expert level proficiency in machine learning using at least one platform: Azure ML/Azure open AI/AWS Sage Maker / Gen AI technologies

Education• Post-grad / PhD in any one of the following fields with strong academic credentials:

Computer Science/IT or Operations Research/Applied Math or Engineering & Mathematics or Statistics

Experience• 12+ year of experience in Data Analytics/AI/ETL.• Domain expertise in one or more of the following:

o Life & Retirement Insurance

o Group Insurance

o Legal & Compliance

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000.00 - $180000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
