Principal Developer, Workday Extend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, test, document, deploy, and support Extend & integration solutions for Workday.

Ability to help resolve integration issues requiring in depth expertise of Workday products.

Demonstrated integration experience in Human Resources, Payroll or Financials Management.

Maintain an understanding of the application landscape and support maintaining documentation about all applications in the architecture repository.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Experience building Workday Extend applications.
-
5+ years implementing integration solutions and using Workday Studio and XSLT for data transformation and PRISM.
-
2-4 years’ Workday Extend including PMD Scripting, Orchestration, core HCM module and Security.

Explain appropriate use cases for App Components Create and maintain Business Objects Design and implement a Business Process Build and Execute an Orchestration Design and use reports using RaaS and WQL.

Extensive knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and authentication and authorization methods (OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML, X.509, etc.).

Experience using Postman to explore, use, and develop API’s.

Experience with Javascript.

Experience configuring Workday business processes and security.

Experience implementing Platform-as-a-Service and/or custom web applications, including (ideally) implementing Workday solutions using Human Capital Management, Financial Management or Student Information Systems.

Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including collecting requirements, design, development, testing, and move to production.

Experience with Workday Orchestration Builder.

Good understanding on the Security Configuration and Business Process setup in the tenant.

Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
