Principal DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a mid-senior level Principal DevOps Engineer to help us build and maintain reliable systems. You'll be responsible for optimizing developer flow, creating consistency between environments, and automating deployment and testing. Ideal candidates have experience working with python, docker and CI tools directly, and must be familiar with standard development flow architecture with relation to automating tests, deployments, and other tasks. Experience as a Software Engineer is also favorable.

NOTE: This role is based in NYC. Forum Brands operates a flexible, hybrid office policy in which employees are expected to be in-person at least three days per week.*

What you'll do:

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Establish consistency in development and deployment environments
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Develop and maintain organizational structures between various microservices and frontends

Requirements

• Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Proficiency with Python and related deployment/testing/linting tools
• Proficiency with Linux and Docker
• Working Knowledge with common AWS tools (lambda, rds, ec2, step functions, glue/etl)
• Working knowledge of relational databases
• Familiarity with NodeJS and related tools
• Familiarity with maintaining and releasing microservices
