Summary of Role:
As a Principal DevOps Engineer at AdCellerant, you will be responsible for leading our DevOps team, developing and implementing strategies for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of best practices, automate manual processes, and enhance our development and deployment pipelines. Your experience and leadership will be crucial in shaping our DevOps culture and processes.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of DevOps engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and automation tools.
- Define and implement best practices for IaC integration, build automation, and deployment processes to improve software development efficiency.
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA roles to streamline workflows and facilitate fast, reliable, and secure software releases.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the health of our systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- Work closely with our security team to implement security measures, including identity and access management, compliance, and encryption to safeguard sensitive data and applications.
- Continuously evaluate emerging DevOps and cloud technologies, tools, and practices, and make recommendations for adoption.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring data and service availability.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation, policies, and procedures related to DevOps and infrastructure.
- Work with 3rd parties and internal stakeholders to plan and manage cloud infrastructure budget
- Manage DNS, SSL Certificates, and networking configuration in GCP
Location Information:
This role is preferred to be located near our Denver, CO office, with hybrid work from home flexibility.
- Our HQ is in Denver, Colorado. Our fun, downtown location is open for those who wish to work in the office, set visitor meetings, and collaborate with coworkers in person. Compensation:
Annual salary range: $150,000 - $200,000

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 3 years of experience working specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience as a DevOps engineer with a strong background in software development and infrastructure management.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Salt
- Extensive experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, etc).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana. Datadog is a plus).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead the DevOps department.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or GCP are a plus.
