PublicSquare went public just over a year ago as PSQ Holdings.  Initially, focused primarily on our online marketplace, we've since expanded to include house brands like EveryLife for baby diapers, soaps and lotions and Eden for feminine care products.  This position will be within Credova, our wholly-owned subsidiary.  Credova is in the Fintech space, a buy-now-pay-later service for the firearms and shooting sports industry.  This role will be supporting our in-house development of a payment platform called Credova Payments.

We are seeking a skilled Principal DevSecOps Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and security environment, which supports our security and compliance platform. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and securing the cloud infrastructure to ensure it meets all necessary compliance requirements.
• Collaborating with compliance, security teams, and auditors to verify that our environment adheres to required standards.
• Working closely with engineers to automate the provisioning of infrastructure and the deployment of applications and services.
• Demonstrating a strong passion for automating all aspects of DevSecOps practices.
• Utilizing expertise in at least one major cloud platform such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Applying your deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including the build and deployment of Docker containers.
• Understanding and implementing compliance requirements, including PCI, SOC2, and ISO27001.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker containers.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC2, ISO27001).
• Passion for automating and optimizing DevSecOps processes.

This is a remote full-time W2 position.

Role Summary/Major tenets of the role:

• Help to build and maintain world class developer documentation, SDK’s, and shopping cart plugins
• Work directly with customers to gather requirements and develop solutions to assist with integration
• Work with sales and marketing to develop sample applications to demonstrate platform capabilities and business processes
• Expert in at least one front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Familiarity building APIs in at least one framework such as .NET, NodeJS, or Spring
• Experience building developer documentation, SDKs, and shopping cart plugins
