Principal Digital Marketing Analyst
Job Description
The Principal Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and evolution of marketing performance data & dashboards, translating data into meaningful insights for the Keurig Digital Marketing team members and leaders to act on confidently. The position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing, Creative & Content with a dotted line to the Director of Data Science and Business Intelligence.
The ideal candidate will be a data domain subject matter expert for site and media execution data with digital marketing acumen and be passionate about all things data, as well as a creative and analytical thinker who loves to solve challenges. This position will work closely with Digital Marketers, Site Engineering, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to focus on marketing reporting needs.
• Own front-end management and iteration process for BI dashboards and serve as the end-to-end lead for new marketing performance reporting solutions• Translate data into actionable dashboards, reports, algorithms, or datasets• Perform statistical analysis and present findings to guide, influence, and advise leadership• Act as the expert on marketing analytics in presentations on performance reporting
• Partner with site developers & data scientists who own back-end development, data governance, and data management for marketing data sources
• Develop marketing experiment design and recommend changes in strategy when needed based on outcomes
• Develop analytics that identifies optimizations to grow sales and subscriptions through various channels profitably by optimizing channel allocation, bids, budgets, dayparting, audience targeting, time to pay back, etc.
• Work with the technology team closely to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and implement enhancements
• Integrate directly into the business, working with an in-house team of marketers and merchandisers to impact bottom-line results
Requirements
Requirements:
• 3+ years in business intelligence, marketing analytics function
• Have hands-on capability for data visualization and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with PowerBI, Data Studio, Tableau, et. al.
• Experience in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Meta or other media platforms
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, i.e., Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or any quantitative field
• Strong analytic ability and problem-solving skills to proactively address business questions with innovative data-driven solutions.
• Experience with demand generation metrics such as cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, time to payback, return on investment
