Position Specific Description
Come join our marketing team! We are seeking a high energy Principle Digital Marketing to drive lead generation and new customer acquisition. This position will reside at our Houston, TX office and be responsible for creating and implementing digital marketing strategies and campaigns for a variety of products and services across brands.
In this hands-on role, key aspects of the job include paid search (SEM), display advertising, SEO, copywriting, social media advertising, email marketing, web analytics, and website property management. This person will also identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights. This individual must have a strong understanding of Paid Search, Paid Display, Paid and Organic Social, SEO, Email Marketing and Content Management Systems. This position reports to the Sr. Manager Acquisition Marketing.
- Must have demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated experience driving lead generation strategy & programs.
- Must have hands-on experience running performance marketing campaigns.
- Ability to analyze ad platform and web analytics reporting to drive performance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Experience with developing and managing to a budget.
- Agency experience preferred.
- Content Management System experience preferred.
- Retail Electricity experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop or other graphics software a plus.

Job Overview
This job is responsible for driving customer acquisition. Leaders in this roll work closely with marketing senior leadership, customer service, product/pricing and operations to increase the impact of current residential customer acquisition programs and develop new acquisition programs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and oversees the execution of superior retail electricity integrated customer acquisition marketing strategies, campaigns and tactics
- Manages all residential customer acquisition programs, campaigns and strategies for all marketing channels
- Manages/Directs the design and execution of marketing plans, campaigns and supporting creative materials
- Manages/Directs the design and execution of digital, broadcast and other channel media plans and outbound telemarketing efforts
- Manages/Directs the planning and execution of digital marketing tactics - Search marketing/pay per click (PPC), Display and Search Engine Optimization
- Utilizes marketing analytics resources to assist with segment or audience targeting and program results analysis
- Provides management and oversight of marketing acquisition expense budgets
- Provides input in the monthly and annual forecasting of marketing acquisition growth goals
- Builds partnerships with internal organizations to ensure smooth implementation and optimized experience for customers
- Leads team meetings on a daily basis and interacts with a variety of professional representatives of vendors and agencies on a weekly basis
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
