About the job
On this team, you will work to protect users from being exposed to inappropriate ads (e.g., fraudulent, scammy and offensive ads) and help enforce policies for content related to some of the most pressing issues of our time, like misinformation, hate speech and election ads. We increase user trust by finding user-friendly solutions to today's regulatory environment and giving users agency over the ads they see.
You will start a UX practice to design user-centric solutions for Google Ads to get ahead of emerging regulations globally. You will set the strategy, partner with UX and product teams across Google Ads and Google to develop innovative product concepts, and drive change management through influencing executive stakeholders. You will provide thought leadership to make connections on the user impact across existing and future regulations, understand user needs, and identify cohesive product solutions that prioritize good user experiences and build user trust. You will use design methods to bring the user experience to life for internal stakeholders and externally with regulators.
User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users' needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products' unique capabilities and personalities. Our work touches billions while exemplifying a key principle that is core to Google's philosophy: "Focus on the user and all else will follow."
