The Principal Engagement Manager is a customer centric leader focused on building and leading teams to co-innovate within Ricoh and externally. This person will deliver and manage multi-stream technical engagements with partners and customers by demonstrating exemplary leadership qualities, building high performing teams, and establishing effective communication techniques across the program. The Engagement Manager is responsible for managing customer expectations, managing delivery teams, and managing the scope and budget of each individual project. This includes participating in on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, evaluating, proposing, and engaging teams to invent and innovate with Ricoh customers and help develop custom solution engagements. They will collaborate with field sales, pre-sales, design, training, and support teams to lead co-innovation engagements in key market verticals such as financial services, retail, and healthcare/life sciences.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively looks for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Leads directly, and through others, the creation of new business capabilities for customers, partners, and Ricoh
teams. - Demonstrates leadership in the scaled, enterprise Agile and Program Management community, showing differentiated invention and innovation.
- Delivers leading large, complex initiatives and customer engagements
- Collaborates with field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to seek to understand our customers' needs,
their business, how success is defined and ensure that we are exceeding expectations in delivery and developing valued solutions. - Works with incubation, engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback.
- Leads and coaches both, customer stakeholders/subject matter experts, and partner teams to align program/project
goals with customer business goals, leads planning and road mapping to ensure the achievement of those goals. - Plans, organizes, and manages all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. This includes developing and managing project governance plans, project schedules, team goals, defining success criteria, project milestones, and budgets.
- Leads co-development and co-creation innovation initiatives prioritized by customer and innovation teams.
- Creates account strategies to transform customer stories into outcomes that delight the customer.
- Builds partner, customer, and internal teams to solve complex problems.
- The individual must be versed in a broad range of technologies with the ability to map customer requirements for innovation to emerging technology trends.
Additional Pay Details:
Compensation range is $120,000-145,000
