How you'll make an impact:We are looking for a highly motivated Principal Engineer to work on our financial planning software, which is used by many of the nation's leading healthcare providers. You will be working across three scrum teams and will provide technical direction on system architecture to ensure that our software is high quality, performant, and scalable. You will be a player coach who will not only architect solutions but will be hands on building them as well. In this role, you will:• Be responsible for end-to-end architecture of a complex financial planning system• Determine the overall architectural principles and standards• Independently design and deliver large complex projects• Work closely with large data sets• Collaborate across multiple teams and help ensure standards and cohesiveness• Mentor up and coming engineering team members• Ensure that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence• Drive research, case studies, and prototypes on leading edge technologies and how they can be leveraged
How we work:We have the flexibility to support hybrid work - our campuses are located in Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO. Regardless of location, you'll have the chance to visit our Chicago headquarters throughout the year!

What we're looking for:• Experience architecting large, complex systems, ideally using some combination of React, C#, or SQL• Excellent communication skills - you'll work cross-functionally within our growing Engineering and Product Management teams• Experience working with Snowflake or AWS is a plus
