Job Description
High Alpha is hiring key team members for a new B2B SaaS startup in Indianapolis. This position will be with High Alpha’s latest company, which is pre-public launch. You’ll work closely with the internal High Alpha team while reporting directly to the CTO. About this role:Are you passionate about technology, building innovative software, and creative problem-solving? Are you looking for a role where you can deliver immediate impact with the software you create? We are seeking Full Stack engineers looking to innovate and build a new product that will unleash customer Champions. As an early addition to the team, you will be significantly influential in helping define the technical stack and solve business problems in order to deliver a high-value product. The ideal candidate is an expert in TypeScript, Node, Python, and microservice event-driven cloud architecture. As the team grows, they will fully understand the goals of the team and department and effectively influence new team members to achieve those goals.
What You’ll Do:You will be an integrated member of the cross-functional development team. You will be a part of building our user-facing web application and the backend that powers it. We will work together to define the early-stage product and the processes and procedures that guide how we work as a team. Responsibilities include:
- Leverage a deep and broad understanding of the technology landscape and market, and serve as a thought leader in order to assist in platforms and technology selections and decision making
- Draw up technical specifications for custom development and systems integration requirements.
- Participate in architecture design, build schedule, milestone, delivery, and post-project reviews
- Nurture engineers to consider architecture and design best practices, including aspects such as performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Directly interface with key stakeholders including prospects, customers, partners, and investors.
- 8+ years of technology experience
- Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design
- Experience researching and proposing technology and tooling
- Hands-on experience with languages like Typescript, Node, React, Python, Java and the ability to quickly pick up new technology as technical decisions are still being made
- Hands-on experience with Cloud (AWS/Google Cloud), Microservices, REST APIs, and API Development
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Compensation:
- $140k - $180k annual salary based on experience
