Job Duties and Responsibilities
Principal Engineer sought by DISH Network LLC in American Fork, Utah.
Solution architecture for Sling's backend systems. Diagnose, monitor, and resolve issues in all areas, whether front-end or back-end of the Sling TV streaming video ecosystem; write, monitor, and advance analysis software for a live always-on streaming system; diagnose, debug and repair critical system-wide issues across all areas of the product from client to server; develop and maintain a range of analysis tools from big-data to client software used to monitor and analyze a 24x7 Internet-wide video service; collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify architectural improvements and features needed in applications and help set priorities.
Job requirements:
Req's: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a closely related field plus 6 years of relevant experience in job offered or as Applications Development Project Lead. Also requires 6 years of experience with/using (may be obtained concurrently):

• Architect technical design;
• Programming Languages: Java, node js, typescript;
• CI/CD, Jenkins;
• Automated testing of applications, and CI;
• Experience establishing an overall architectural view and identifying major system interfaces;
• Designing and developing enterprise-wide reusable software and modules.

Rate of pay: $158,100.00
