Applied Signal Technology: WHO WE AREWhat You Will Do:

• Lead a multi-disciplined team's efforts within Engineering.
• Responsible for leadership, management, and oversight of the ICTs efforts across multiple contracts.
• Be challenged with significant complexity related to the relationships within the customer/Prime community.
• Empowered to make decisions of significant importance to the joint business interests and will need to work closely with leadership across AST.

• Travel up to 10% travel time to other AST sites and customer sites.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Systems Engineering process and/or Software Product Development.
• Experience working in the defense industry, the Intelligence Community, or with other government agencies.
• Experience with program planning, execution and/or support (cost/budget, schedule, integration, and/or project management).
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Active U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance or current SSBI.
• Experience with broadband communications including network operations, transport structures and switching equipment
• Experience providing technical leadership to engineers throughout the entire Systems lifecycle.
• Experience managing strategic business to drive growth.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
