UnspecifiedJob Description Title: Principal Engineer (Hybrid)

Experience: 12 to 14 YearsRoles & Responsibilities:

• To work as an Independent contributor in a team developing, enhancing and maintaining safety critical software.
• Accomplish the assigned tasks within the planned milestones meeting quality, cost and schedule.
• End to end software Development activities as per DO178B/C guidelines.
• Strong understanding of the communication protocols A429, A615, A664, CAN and TTP.
• Strong understanding on RTOS Concepts.
• Hands on experience with Python/dxl scripting, C and MATLAB-Simulink and State flow.
• Hands-on experience with the SOI Audits and Certification process.
• Experience in performing Timing/Memory/Partition analysis, Data coupling and control coupling (DCCC).
• Experience in software debugging tools (like pathfinder, trace 32, wind river).
• Writing and maintaining problem reports to meet change control, on software design and technical specifications in accordance with DO178 B/C guidelines.
• Expertise with Software Configuration Management and Change Control Process (DOORS, Synergy, SVN etc.)
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with team at onsite.
• Exhibit technical leadership, build and nurture the team. Develop team strengths and improve upon their weaknesses.
• Lead and motivate team on future technologies. Experience in mentoring & developing team competency.
• Lead and contribute to the department initiatives of Continuous Improvement and Innovation.
• Maintain integrity and work ethics within the team.

Preferred Skill Set:

• Knowledge of Aircraft Electric Systems products(GCU/BPCU).
• Exposure to DevOps for continuous integration .
• Exposure on Agile based software development.
• Knowledge of MBSE.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech
• 12+ years of experience in safety critical SW Development.
