As a Principal Analyst, FP&A at Corvus, you will be responsible for leading the cross-functional financial planning, forecasting and results analysis for all of Corvus’s entities. In this role, you will partner with Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Tech & Product, and the rest of G&A departments, as well as our local teams in both London & Europe to analyze the financial health of the business, develop and regularly update financial forecasts, and help inform key decisions to ensure Corvus is tracking toward long term strategic goals.
The Finance professional in this role will have the opportunity to independently own the planning and results work-streams for key P&L components. You will contribute to the organization’s success by driving financial results insights and analyses that provide transparency into our financial position in support of leadership decision-making and Corvus’ growth and profitability goals.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to quarterly forecasting and annual planning process, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and coordination with functional stakeholders
- Drives critical results and trend analysis of financial and operational variances to plan, prior year and forecast. Including assisting with monthly results slides for leadership.
- Cultivates strong relationships with business partners within and outside of Finance to ensure collaboration and provide thoughtful financial analysis informed by operational and business drivers
- Provides sound financial insights and expertise to business partners and stakeholders to inform and improve business outcomes
- Collaborates with functional partners across the organization to drive key profit and growth inputs to plan and forecast
- Partners closely amongst other FP&A members to understand monthly results trends and incorporate into forward looking forecast
- Leads ad-hoc analyses on emerging plan and forecast related trends and effectively summarizes and communicates results to management
- Proactively owns and evaluates processes, reports, and tools for continuous improvement opportunities and makes recommendations
What you’ll bring to the flock!
- Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting) required. CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 6-8 years of finance experience.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.
- Advanced technical skills (within Microsoft Office & GSuite) and understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods.
- Communicates well with team and across organizational boundaries to ensure the successful completion of shared goals.
- Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail.

We believe in paying equitably for performance. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and geography. Please note that the salary range that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only. The base salary range for this position is: $126,000.00 - $140,000.00, subject to final approval. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
