Summary

As a Principal Front-End Engineer at Measured you are an hands-on technical lead who will play a key role in designing and developing the company's next generation web-based Marketing Analytics applications. You will build and deliver user-centric products that are fault tolerant efficient and designed based on modern experiences. You will work closely with the product design backend engineers and data scientists to translate requirements into technical designs and implement it in close collaboration with other engineering teams. You are comfortable in rolling up sleeves to support customer escalations alongside with customer success and support teams. You value customer UI experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end development for a key product or modules in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Work in close partnership with product design and other engineering teams to plan build and deliver best-in-class experiences for our users.

• Work with all teams including engineering product solutions customer Success to roll-out new client-facing products feature enhancements and bug fixes.

• Own full accountability for the timely delivery overall technical excellence quality of the software deliverables enhancing existing architecture through optimization or refactoring.

• Develop reusable code that is scalable maintainable and well-documented.

• Implement best practices for front-end development including accessibility performance and security.

• Support customer escalations work with customer success and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Comfortable working in an agile development environment with POD-based team structure and OKR-based delivery model.

• Provide mentorship to other front-end developers on the team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in front-end development.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries: HTML/ CSS JavaScript XML jQuery and JavaScript frameworks like Angular React Node.js VueJS or other.

• Hands-on experience with design and development in any of these languages: Java Kotlin JavaScript/TypeScript Python Ruby Perl PHP and desire to learn other languages.

• Hands-on experience with RDS or Document-store databases like MySQL PostgreSQL BigQuery Redshift Snowflake or other.

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery AWS Kinesis Lambda ECS Airflow or other.

• Preferred experience with Marketing Analytics or analytics in general.

• Previous work experience in building SaaS platforms highly scalable and highly available production systems.

• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Experienced with writing unit tests and automated regression and integration tests.

• Understands and can visualize end-to-end data flow within a software application.
