This is a high-impact, senior engineering role where you will shape the future of a rapidly evolving SaaS platform for the automotive repair industry. You will lead the design, architecture, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance full stack applications while influencing technical strategy and AI integration across the product. The role requires both visionary thinking and hands-on execution, with opportunities to optimize data processing, drive customer-centric development, and elevate engineering standards. You will collaborate closely with product leadership, mentor peers, and help define the technical roadmap for a growing, innovative team. This position is fully remote and offers the chance to work in a dynamic, forward-looking environment with a strong focus on AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the technical strategy and ownership of core platform components, focusing on scalable, efficient, and secure solutions
  • Drive adaptive full stack development, pivoting to meet evolving business priorities and ensuring seamless integration across systems
  • Partner with Product to deliver customer-focused features that address real pain points for users
  • Architect reusable components and services to maintain system performance as the platform scales
  • Champion code quality through best practices, test automation, security standards, and deep-dive code reviews
  • Influence and improve DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to building a high-performing, innovative engineering culture
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of professional experience building complex web-based SaaS products
    • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integration, including prompt engineering and AI-assisted coding
    • Strong database expertise with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) systems, including schema design and query optimization
    • Proven "owner" mindset with accountability for complex projects and problem-solving in fast-paced environments
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into product outcomes
    • Nice to have: familiarity with .NET, Node.js (TypeScript), and React, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), or early-stage startup experience
    • Benefits:

      • Equity options to share in the company’s success
      • 100% remote position within the United States
      • 100% employer-paid medical insurance
      • Flexible PTO with a 15-day minimum, generous parental leave, and FSA/HSA options
      • 401(k) plan and learning stipend for professional growth
      • World-class home office equipment provided
      • Opportunity to influence AI technology and product innovation in a collaborative culture
