Position Specific Description

FPLES is a national company with local roots in the communities we serve. Headquartered in south Florida, FPLES is a leader in providing energy solutions for our customers' toughest challenges.

FPLES IT team is seeking a principal systems analyst with strong functional knowledge and background in Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud platform. This person will configure, test and maintain Salesforce solutions to support the fast-paced growth of our commercial and residential businesses.

Job Tasks:

The Principal Business Analyst works across Salesforce Sales and/or Service cloud platform and other key operational areas & applications to identify requirements and scope where change to systems, tools, data, and processes are required to deliver specific business outcomes
They take the lead to document requirements through 'use cases' and 'user stories/epics' in Jira
They are responsible for defining and agreeing the Acceptance Criteria, for working with the architects and developers to clarify the requirement and ensure the design meets the acceptance criteria and will then coordinate and support the end to end and business acceptance testing phases

Essential Skills:

Hands-on implementation experience in Salesforce Sales and/or Service cloud platform
Salesforce functional component knowledge such as ProcessBuilders, Layouts, Profiles, Flow, Triggers, etc
AppExchange and Salesforce ecosystem integration experienced (preferred)
Salesforce platform certification (preferred)
Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
Used to agile, fast paced, dynamic project environments
5+ years Salesforce CRM experience
Bachelor's degree (preferred)

  • Demonstrates a strong familiarity with business processes that are in their area of business focus

  • Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area to decompose work into manageable value-based units
  • Responds to requests, identifies conflicts, and makes recommendations where needed
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems
  • Uses knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps
  • Builds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution
  • Contributes to the application testing process (directly or to support end users)
  • Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework
  • Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
