Principal IT Enterprise Architect
Principal IT Enterprise Architect for Honeywell International, Inc. (Charlotte, NC).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Coordinate the architecture and enabling technologies strategy for the data enablement, information and analytics.
-Evangelize and drive alignment on the adoption and realization of the architecture strategy.
-Partner with business alignment team and business leaders on all data initiatives.
-Provide thought leadership and act as the trusted technical advisor to business and technology leadership team.
-Coordinate the development of a Reference as well as Destination Solution and Technical Architecture standards and Usage guidelines for enabling delivery capabilities based on industry trends, innovation and business drivers.
-Provide strong functional thought leadership and consulting in the respective domain and be an advisor to the business and strategy leads on Industry best practices.
-Work as part of Architecture group, as well as business alignment team to convert business requirements into an architecture blueprint and conceptual design, based on the Architecture standards and usage guidelines.
-Work with Enterprise Architecture Review Board for Architecture Governance across architecture domains.
-Facilitate product selection as part of Architecture Standards definition.
-Partner with Business, Business Alignment Team and Solution Delivery teams to select an approach.

-Job Site: Charlotte, NC
-40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and eight (8) years of Information Technology experience. Must possess five (5) years of experience in the following: working within the Data Enablement, Data and Analytics domains and Enterprise Architecture environment; driving and leading large-scale architectural or delivery projects throughout an entire business through to completion; designing Enterprise data platforms with hands on experience in Snowflake, Redshift, and SAP HANA; designing Cloud solutions in AWS and Azure; and delivering solutions across multiple technologies, including but not limited to Data Warehouse, Data architecture, Data Visualization, Data APIs, Microservices, Data Integration, Data Analytics and Data Science, Application Development, and Microservices; and
common knowledge of security application and data security. Must possess two (2) years of experience in Reporting and analytics tools like ThoughtSpot, Tableau and Power BI. Up to 10% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week
