Principal Lead Full Stack Developer

Software Developer with 10+ years of experience in developing applications using Java, Python, Golang and has good understanding of cloud technologies and UI framework (React / Angular)
Knowledge of container environments like Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience in Test-driven development, CI/CD process, continuous testing, Agile/Scrum practices with Github/Jira/Jenkins/Collaborator or similar platforms.
Experience with common open-source tools platforms
The candidate is expected to have strong debugging, triaging and troubleshooting skills.

This role for an experienced full-stack engineer to provide people engineering SME and support to our business partners in the Asset Management. The candidate should be hands on in advanced programing, visualization, analytical models and algorithms. The candidate should demonstrate strong technical/problem solving skills, manage multiple projects collaboratively and ensure adherence to enterprise standards. You’ll work with smart, talented people across our business to create innovative, next-generation cloud-based applications, and analytics/models. You’ll be involved, hands-on, through the entire development cycle. And you’ll redefine the way our traders, portfolio managers and analysts support our clients. Key Responsibilities: ​

• Design and build the next generation of the world's best investment management technology platform, focusing on managing various investment lifecycle processes and investment research.
• Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Solve complex problems; research and bring in new and advanced machine learning concepts; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Provides input on tool and technology selection, standards and shares evolving best practices.
• Participates in discovery sessions to identify opportunities to leverage analytics to automate and enhance business processes.
• Operate independently in a product centric culture with sense of ownership and accountability.
• Refine business and functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to implement comprehensive AI/ML-based solutions from start to finish.
• Apply quality software engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize the software delivery and workflow of the team.
• Work with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment.

Requirements: ​

• B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area with 10+ years, or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience in delivering technology solutions working in financial services organizations.
• Relevant experience in championing organizational change, e.g., leading initiatives, products, services, or interactions.
• Being a good advocate for technology with the business bridging the gap.
• Relevant experience in delivering cloud native (AWS) innovative solutions with a commercial mindset.
• Full stack development skills – Java, Python, Angular, React, etc.
• Experienced with AWS stack and CI/CD
• Solid experience with Databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Demonstrated experience leading a team of Technical Engineers.
• Proficiency in designing and building scalable APIs and Microservices​
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
• Ability to reverse engineering existing applications.
• Experience working in Agile development teams with excellent collaboration skills.
• Exposure to automated testing and Test-Driven Development
• Should have excellent communication skills, should be able to interact with business system analysts and get clear understanding of requirements.

Nice to have: ​

• Understanding of prompt engineering and prompt tuning
• Experience building applications using LLM frameworks such as LangChain, Llama Index, and Semantic Kernel
• Experience with vector databases like Faiss or Chroma ​
• Knowledge of ML model evaluation to ensure consistent performance with changing data
• Familiarity with MLOps and ML model lifecycle pipelines
• Experience with ML model training and fine-tuning.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging frameworks like Kafka
• Experience with NoSQL datastores like Cassandra, Mongo DB
