Job Summary

The Principal Lead Lightning Developer will display strong experience in Salesforce platform and related technologies. You will build world-class applications meeting evolving requirements and improving our internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment. The candidate will be customer focused, highly collaborative, and constantly seeking input to ensure success. The candidate should be able to build and customize Salesforce.com solutions and manage integrations with other systems. In our environment, you'll develop solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and front-end web technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Designs, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs.
  • Leads technical design sessions, designing and documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the WM`s business objectives.
  • Demonstrates understanding of/and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API's.
  • Displays expertise in implementations covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter & App-exchange applications.
  • Expertise in Salesforce core languages: Apex (language, triggers, classes, web services); Visualforce (pages and components); Lightning components, LWC and SOQL.
  • Uses SFDC experience working in Visualforce, Lightning/Communities, APEX coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Workflows, Flows, CSS, HTML, Templates, Custom coding, and Web Services.
  • Applies Lightning development experience including lightning design, components, Aura Framework, JavaScript, and Server-side components.
  • Utilizes experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch and sync/async.
  • Applies integration experience using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest) and Integration/Middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Webmethods etc.
  • Thinks critically and challenge conventional thinking.
  • Mentors and fosters growth of peers and team members.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Will coach and mentor less-experienced analysts and act as team leader on highly complicated system projects.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • Ten (10) years of previous experience required.
  • (4+) years of salesforce application development experience required.

B. Other Preferred Experience
  • Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and front-end web technologies.
  • Expertise in implementations such as: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter & App-Exchange applications.
  • Expertise in Salesforce core languages: Apex (language, triggers, classes, web services); Visualforce (pages and components); Lightning components and SOQL.
  • SFDC Experience working in Visualforce, Lightning/Communities, APEX coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Workflows, Flows, CSS, HTML, Templates, Custom coding and Web Services.
  • Lightning development experience including lightning design, components, Aura Framework, JavaScript and Server-side components.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
  • Experience with common JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, etc.
  • Experience developing for Salesforce Communities and Lightning App Builder.
  • Hands-on experience on Visual Studio Code IDE, GitHub, Jira.
  • Experience with Agile methodology project organization (Scrum).
