Principal People Partner 

The role:

We are seeking a highly innovative and inspired Principal People Partner to manage the day-to-day operations of the local People Function.  In this position you will be partnering with senior leaders and coaching / advising managers and employees in all areas of the People function. The successful candidate will use their expertise to continue to grow our high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and goal attainment. 

What you’ll do as the Principal HR Business Partner:

  • Act as the Principal HR Business Partner to respective business unit; consult with senior executives and management, providing HR guidance on all People functional areas 
  • Partner with leaders to advise on talent strategies to scale and develop our team, including organizational design and development, engagement and retention, succession planning and employee development
  • Coach management and be an advocate for employees in all areas of the employee lifecycle 
  • Drive adoption of talent programs 
  • Leverage our internal People centers of excellence on recruiting, operations, compensation and benefits 
  • Ensure successful onboarding and offboarding for all employees
  • Manage complex employee relations 

What you’ll bring as the Principal HR Business Partner:

  • Experience as a strategic HR Business Partner partnering with senior executives with a track record of success
  • Exposure to all functional areas of HR 
  • Experience leading the efforts of others in a matrix reporting structure
  • Impeccable interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), change management, negotiation and influencing skills 
  • Collaborative, transparent and inclusive team player
  • Service minded with high integrity
  • Highly driven and strong sense of ownership
  • Solution oriented with a positive attitude
  • Experience working autonomously 
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor degree in a related field preferred, equivalent education and experience is also acceptable
