Principal Product Designer, Contact Center

This is where you and your skills come in. As a Principal Product Designer for our Contact Center product, RingCX, you will be involved in our design processes and the creation of innovative new features that will take our product to the next level. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with other designers, product managers, and engineers. You will be responsible for presenting work to executive shareholders and will need to explain and defend design concepts with logic and reasoning. You will become an expert in designing experience for the contact center industry and you will track and report on the latest industry trends and innovations.
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

• Working on complex projects to provide a clear sense of design vision, strategy, and direction
• Leading design projects from concept through implementation
• Mentoring other more junior designers
• Collaborating with other designers to ensure consistency with user experience and patterns across product offerings
• Experience working with cross functional UX teams, such as Research, Content Design and Design systems
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge about all things UX and UX processes

Desired Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software companies designing complex user experiences
• Experience working closely with Agile development teams and ensuring code is built to spec
• Experience creating, maintaining, and using a design system
• Experience designing in Figma
• Availability to work early mornings/evenings to accommodate colleagues in various time zones
• A detailed portfolio of design work that outlines your specific role, decisions, and challenges for at least two large-scale projects

Exceptional candidates will have:

• Experience designing SaaS products for a B2B company
• Experience in the Contact Center industry
• Experience working on global and remote teams

If you are hired in Belmont, California, the compensation range for this position is between $172,000 and $215,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
