What you get to do in this role:
- Drive the Billing roadmap, owning strategy and execution for key features.
- Champion customer-focused, market-driven thinking across the Billing team to align products with business needs, driving customer success and sales growth.
- Collaborate with engineering to creatively innovate, build, and launch products that inspire and challenge the team.
- Develop and deliver impactful educational programs for customers, partners, and Guidewire Professional Services, ensuring effective use of new Billing products and features.
- Partner with Product Marketing to articulate and evangelize the business value of the Billing product vision and strategy, while enabling Field/Partner success.
- Align with Finance and Sales Leadership to track pipeline and achieve quarterly sales targets for Billing products.
- Evangelize Guidewire’s strategy and vision to internal and external stakeholders, including management, industry analysts, customers, prospects, and partners.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive product management experience in a commercial enterprise software company.
- Experience in building or managing billing solutions or similar products within InsurTech, FinTech, General Ledger or Sub-Ledger or P&C Insurance domains (preferred).
- Proficiency in driving discovery processes, including data capture, analysis, hypothesis formation, and testing.
- Experience with cloud-native business applications and a strong interest in leveraging new technologies like Cloud, AI, and ML to achieve business goals.
- Proven ability to inspire, empower, and lead cross-functional teams, with a low-ego approach that prioritizes the success of the team, business, and customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present them clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders, including customers, partners, and senior executives.
- A degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or accounting
