SUMMARY

ANSYS, Inc. seeks Principal Product Manager to work in Canonsburg, PA and various unanticipated locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate leadership and creativity on complex projects and show foresight through translation of significant market needs to product roadmaps.
• Serve as a thought leader and engineering subject matter expert and provide direct advice to senior leadership that impacts business growth.
• Lead product initiatives within core competency of semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) power from register transfer language (RTL) through layout.
• Serve as a technology evangelist, providing deep use case and engineering knowledge for the Semiconductor business unit.
• Engage with critical customers for planning, roadmap, and deployment of solutions.
• Provide thought leadership in technical public forums, including conferences, field events, and executive round tables.
• Partner with the ANSYS Customer Excellence (ACE) and Sales teams to drive business.
• Responsible for the entire product life cycle, from its functional description through product launch to retirement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or a related engineering field of study, and ten (10) years of experience in a related occupation.
• Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or a related engineering field of study, and twelve (12) years of experience in a related occupation.
• Work experience must have included:
  • ten (10) years of combined experience in engineering, computer aided engineering (CAE) simulations, pre-sales support, sales, and customer engagement;
  • experience developing strategic initiatives and go-to-market (GTM) strategies based on market foresight;
  • core competency in using tools for semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) power and front end design flow;
  • IC power analysis and reduction; and
  • experience engaging with critical customers for planning, roadmap, and deployment of solutions.
