The Role

We are looking for a leader to own and grow the ads business for an industry-leading B2B marketplace. You will work across functions to define and align business and product strategy for ads, develop and maintain a product roadmap & GTM Plan, execute across functions, and regularly communicate progress towards the business goals. You will engage with partners and ensure they meet our expectations in delivering the best ad experience for brands and retailers on our platform. 

An ideal candidate would be highly analytical, have a bias toward action, solve complex problems, and elevate cross-functional teams with clear plans & insights that spur action toward our ultimate company goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to own and develop an innovative, industry-changing product that will make up a significant portion of our revenue.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own P&L for LeafLink’s advertising business and scale it to multi-million dollar MRR
  • Own the product roadmap and commercialization plan for the ads product 
  • Define, track, and drive toward business forecasts, KPIs, and goals
  • Conduct market research and engage with customers to identify personas, needs, and opportunities 
  • Develop cross-functional relationships and gain buy-in to execute product strategy & roadmap
  • Closely partner with design, engineering & data to deliver great experiences for our customers
  • Own, plan, and execute product launch and growth efforts with marketing, sales, and operations teams
  • Evaluate build, buy, or partner decisions to get high-quality products to market faster
What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • At least 7 years of experience building and commercializing software products
  • Prior experience building highly successful ads business  
  • You can deal with ambiguity and changing market landscape
  • You are a highly organized data-driven leader and a problem solver
  • You are inspired by LeafLink’s vision, mission, and value system and are committed to driving us toward these pursuits daily
  • Proven success in developing and executing a cross-functional product & business strategy 
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technology partners
  • Nice to Have: Experience monetizing B2B or B2C marketplaces with highly effective advertising strategies and products
