Principal Product Manager - AIOps & Business Services

What we’re looking for…

The Principal Product Manager, AIOps & Business Services, is responsible for envisioning and building ScienceLogic’s industry leading SL1 AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations) platform and partner ecosystem. We are looking for a rockstar who will leverage their market and industry experience to bridge traditional enterprise (network, infrastructure, and application) monitoring with Machine Learning & AI systems to help create an elevating UX experience for our growing base of enterprises. The position will work closely with design and engineering as they deliver strategic innovations on top of a disruptive market leading AIOPs platform, that brings together Enterprise Monitoring, Data Contextualization, and actions through Automation that deliver comprehensive customer delight and value.  

What you’ll be doing…

• Developing and sharing an internal and external AIOps strategy reflecting customer input and strategic direction
• Mentoring product management team to become metrics driven as they make decisions from ideation through sunsetting for solving the most critical of customer problems.
• Interviewing customers and prospects to determine both urgent and latent needs.
• Clearly articulating feature requirements through the development of User Stories, Specifications, Process Mapping, and User Interface Mock-ups
• Working with developers, project managers, and QA leads throughout the product development, testing, implementation, and deployment phases to ensure consistent product quality and experience is maintained
• Working closely with the Engineering team to ensure clear understanding of customer needs and acting as liaison with customers and field team to set clear expectations on what is coming when
• Playing an active role in the successful delivery of release/sprint goals.
• Managing cross-functional dependencies by maintaining high quality product backlogs with a goal of influencing data-driven prioritizations
• Leading demo and UAT sessions to ensure the work performed by our team meets field expectations.
• Monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate product performance and take-up/growth.
• Working with marketing to convey messaging and value proposition associated with our core differentiators of the SL1 AIOps Platform.
• Striking a balance between feature roadmap and technical debt.

Qualities you possess…

• BS (MS/MBA preferred) degree and minimum of ten years’ experience.
• A clearly demonstrable customer facing demeanor with an ability to establish a quick rapport and trust.
• Demonstrated experience leading commercial development of AI/ML tools and platforms with at least 7-8 years deploying data/analytical or ML product experience

• Experience operating and budgeting a SaaS product in a Cloud environment (such as AWS or Azure).
• Must have familiarity with cloud native application development, modern DevOps methodologies and Agile approach to product development
• Must have familiarity with the ITOM, ITSM, APM market
• Experience with security and privacy requirements a plus.
