Job Description

Canvas is not just a feature, it's a whole new way of interacting with the ClickUp platform, turning it into a fully designable workspace. It's an evolution of the Dashboards product, which allowed customers to visualize their data in a customizable way; Canvas reimagines the entirety of ClickUp as a dynamic and interactive medium customers can design to work they want to work.

And it's not just about the data that lives in ClickUp. The Canvas would also bring in all your other applications into ClickUp - your calendar, email, CRM records, or your own data - letting you construct the ultimate all-in-one workspace. It's a tool that not only lets you manage all your work, but also to shape the very environment in which it's done.

The role requires great systems and design thinking, as well the technical capability to bring the product to life as a platform for others to build on as well.

Your primary responsibilities include defining a vision and roadmap, partnering with Design and Engineering to create innovative solutions for our customers, and working with Product Marketing to bring those products to market. We expect that you'll be on top of it and move with urgency, be customer and market obsessed, take ownership in the details, and work backwards from the perfect solution by finding creative incremental ways to make progress.

If this sounds like you, we'd love you to join us in changing the world by giving people more time back in their day.

The Role:

  • Design thinking: Leverage different forms of research and customer feedback to understand and represent user needs and ideate on creative solutions.
  • Executional Excellence: Own roadmap prioritization and partner with Engineering to deliver a high quality product to customers, in the most efficient way possible.

  • Results Driven: Formulate hypotheses, set goals, track results, and follow up on anomalies or trends, utilizing A/B testing when applicable to validate ideas.
  • Flexibility: You thrive in an environment where things change rapidly and are willing to adapt in order to meet the needs of our customers and business

Qualifications:
  • 5-8+ years of product management experience, managing software products from inception through launch and iteration
  • Self-starter who takes initiative in solving problems and can self-manage commitments and deadlines
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade, succinctly communicate the vision and motivate people at every level, across functions
  • Strong design intuition, comfortable with prototyping ideas and user research
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to work with Engineers through tough technical challenges and drive decisions using deep data analysis
  • Experience working with XFN functions to bring a product to market

Desirable:
  • Experience shipping consumer-grade products
  • Love for productivity software as a power user, or builder
  • Hands-on experience designing or engineering software
