Principal Product Manager, Commerce

Bring a brand-new utility, commerce and lifestyle brand to market, iterating toward MVP, product/market fit, and revenue growth.

As the product leader for the complete customer experience of our new lifestyle and utility brand, you will collaborate in a highly visible and influential role with internal and external teams to define key aspects of the product through experimentation.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead the product strategy and define the roadmap, working closely with content strategy leads and product development partners to drive prioritization decisions in alignment with the product vision
  • Plan, prioritize and advocate effective iterations that are based on clear hypotheses and measurable results to quickly move toward product/market fit and revenue positivity
  • Communicate a clear vision to the teams, peers, stakeholders and senior executives in a way that simplifies complexity and generates excitement.
  • Translate technical challenges to non-technical colleagues, and vice-versa, encouraging critical thinking all around with transparency and understanding.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and industry & technology around content management, affiliate commerce, and utility driven
What Will it Take to Successful?
  • You must be analytical, articulate, and business-minded, capable of maneuvering roadblocks, executing tactically, and communicating effectively to stakeholders throughout the course of a product life cycle.
  • 4-8 years of professional experience in product management
  • Significant prior experience with commerce
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts.
  • You must have experience managing engineering and vendor relationships as well as building out requirements.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
  • An understanding of how to navigate the trade-offs necessary to ship quality products on predictable timelines
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; specifically, the ability to tell the story of the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
The annual base pay range for this role is between $160,000 to $200,000.
