Principal Product Manager, Content Platform

Enablement & Platforms the foundation on which our user experiences are built, and as a product manager focused on this, your role will be to work across the organization to ensure that Realtor.com delivers with speed, reliability, and quality. 

In order to meet our users' needs for a best-in-class experience, you’ll focus on being the voice of our internal customers, understanding and prioritizing opportunities that the team can help accelerate.  You’ll be an expert to evangelize our internal product suite, understanding the capabilities and impact each has, influencing product direction with feedback, research of industry best practices, and measure the impact. 

You won’t be alone on this journey.  You’ll motivate and guide a product strategy, empowering technical teams to solve for.  Together, with a clear mission in your head and heart, you’ll ship a lot of engaging, beautiful and personalized new product solutions that build the strongest foundation anywhere.

What you’ll do:

• Work across key areas of Realtor.com, partnering with product and tech leaders of each vertical, to integrate and drive impact utilizing the platform's product suite.
• Create awareness of opportunities by which the teams could accelerate the business, creating concise and clear impact metrics.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of experience in software product management within an Agile environment preferred
• Prior experience driving data and platform centric products highly desired
• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-driven narrative
• Enjoy adapting to feedback from both users and internal stakeholders, building stronger product capabilities as a result
• Strong leadership skills and proven ability to bring many parties and perspectives together, forge a vision and drive towards common goals.
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, marketers and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
• User-centered style, with a strong sense of empathy and experience driving product direction and execution based on user needs
• Desire to be part of and help create a highly-inclusive culture where everyone can belong
• Strategic thinker. Understands business objectives and converts them into clear product plans, follows through with execution.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and challenge. Thrives in a fast-paced environment, concurrently manages multiple initiatives, and remains optimistic.
• Prior real-estate industry experience and rentals experience a bonus

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed locations. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.  All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.

Salary Range for select office locations:

Santa Clara        $224,700 to $325,700

Westlake Village    $204,400 to $296,400

New York        $204,400 to $296,400

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary.  Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
