Your mission: The Principal Product Manager, Organic Growth Platform, will be someone who is passionate about building products, increasing value, and has a track record of achieving business goals through SEO and web-property optimization. This individual should be able to make decisions that reflect a deep understanding of current SEO strategies and the use of technologies to scale and to create efficiencies. The Principal Product Manager, Organic Growth Platform will interact daily with engineering, marketing, strategy, analytics, and operations leadership to execute a multi-year roadmap aligned to business objectives.
What you'll do:

• Successfully manages the organic growth product roadmap
• Identifies opportunities to optimize through consolidation of web technology
• Leverages data to validate effectiveness of released features and iterates as necessary
• Communicates effectively to internal audiences; drives communication cross-functionally
• Makes decisions and executes in a way consistent with Realtor.com culture and values
• Partners with leaders across the organization
• Provides specialized technical SEO guidance to others across the organization
• Collaborates with other performance marketing team leads to share best practices

What you'll bring:

• 15+ years cumulative Product experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
• Ten years of organic SEO experience (senior-level)
• Experience working with online real estate website portal experience a plus
• Substantial in-house SEO experience, custom tools
• Up-to-date knowledge of current SEO strategies
• Familiar with key technologies used for developing efficient web properties
• Ability to find non-obvious problems and opportunities
• Ability to implement data supported, differentiated and innovative solutions to drive efficiency
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Drives strategic vision, and long term roadmap, with and user insights to support customer/business goals
• Can effectively apply principles/frameworks, and create new ones as needed, to identify opportunities, prioritize and create data-driven solutions
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written is crucial
• Shows an ability to influence cross-functional teams to obtain desired results
• Solid understanding of online marketing
• Solid understanding of developing web solutions resulting in increased traffic
• Knowledge of HTML markup, javascript and web development technology and methods
• Knowledge of server technologies (caching, environments, logging)
• Experience with common SEO tools, rank trackers, crawlers
