The Role
As Galileo continues to accelerate our growth, we are looking for a Principal, Product Partnerships to manage an existing portfolio of product partners, craft revenue-generating partner opportunities, gain alignment with internal stakeholders, and execute new agreements with industry-leading technology solution providers. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and working alongside a team of partnership segment leads, you will drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that support Galileo’s strategic and revenue goals. You are an independent thinker, relationship builder, and problem solver with strong commercial instincts and an understanding of technology and product management.
What You’ll Do
- Build a robust partnership portfolio of industry-leading technology and product solutions that support Galileo’s product offeringÂ
- Own the partnership deal lifecycle and drive commercial engagement on partnership deals while collaborating with subject matter expertise across the organization to inform product fit
- Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities based on market dynamics, customer impact, revenue impact, and strategic value
- Creatively structure, negotiate, and execute complex deals with a wide array of partners across industry verticals
- Build close working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to anticipate upcoming roadmap needs, timing, and go-to-market requirementsÂ
- Work particularly closely with Product Management to execute on partnerships that augment the product offering where Galileo will not build the technology in-house
- Â
- Manage partnerships across their lifecycle: from early investigation through negotiation, go-to-market, and ongoing growthÂ
- Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders within partner organizations and look for ways to further deepen relationships over time
- Be the advocate for the partner within Galileo and for Galileo within the partner organization
- Understand the Galileo brand, industry, verticals, positioning and technology and use this knowledge to facilitate both external and internal engagementÂ
What You’ll Need
- 6+ years experience in a similar positionÂ
- Strong product knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, especially in payments and banking technology
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables at the same time
- Ability to make thoughtful, actionable recommendations under minimal structure, and build buy-in across internal and external stakeholders
- High energy and persistent personality with excellent relationship-building, interpersonal and consensus-building skills
- Highly ambitious, self-motivated and goal-oriented; comfortable driving projects independently and navigating ambiguity
