Donaldson's decades of expertise developing and manufacturing products for life science industries has led to our recently created business vertical, Life Sciences; focus on accelerating solution that improve lives through Bioprocessing, Biopharma, Medical Devices, Food & Beverage, Microelectronics and Clean Energy.
We are searching for an experienced Principal Program Manager (Life Sciences) to lead the development of manufacturing site and operational systems for Life Sciences products. In this role you will provide leadership and direction to multifunctional teams through the planning and execution of Life Sciences manufacturing to meet customer and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible to initiate, develop and execute plans, including budgets, design coordination, facility / equipment related capital expenditure requests, scheduling, and reporting for all aspects from inception to completion. Serves as a liaison to key internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Your role is required to assure compliance of Company's operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight and management of large complex capital manufacturing programs.
- Responsible for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Negotiate with internal Donaldson stakeholders and external consultants/contractors to ensure program success.
- Responsible for developing processes, systems and facilities capable of meeting state/federal/regional regulatory requirements and corporate policies/standards (cGMP, cGLP, ISO 9001/13485, 21CFR820).
- Manage and coordinate contract administration activities to ensure positive relations while representing the interests of the company.
- Communicate project status and progress to Donaldson Management, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documents, budgets, and schedules.
TRAVEL: domestically and internationally, up to 30%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field is required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience on complex projects
- Knowledge of state, federal and corporate policies/standards (cGMP, ISO 9001/13485, 21CFR820).
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP/PMI Certification
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and operational systems and facilities for the production of Class III medical devices and clean room manufacturing.
- Sound financial knowledge and experience to understand key financial indicators pertain to capital planning, fixed asset management and budget development/management.
- Proven leadership qualities (setting pace, decisiveness, change management, ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization, organizational awareness)
- Effective leadership capability to influence, empower, motivate and develop others.
- Ability to prioritize projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
