Job Profile:

We are looking for a Principal Program Manager to lead and advise the Technical Support Services Task and performance and manage the Capital Improvement Program on behalf of our client the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority.

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA or The Authority) is one of the largest transit organizations in the United States

The Program Manager will be responsible as task lead, advising the Technical Support Services Task as well responsible for the overall performance and management of the Task Order

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As part of progress reporting, the Principal/Program Manager shall provide WMATA with:

• Monthly narrative update based on timesheets of work performed for Technical Support Services and Capital Program Development and Evaluation Services.

The Program Manager shall also lead:

• Monthly all-hands check-in meeting as necessary.
• Biweekly or as-needed meetings for Technical Support Services and Capital Program Development and Evaluation Services.

The Program Manager shall ensure all staff comply with internal Data Management Standards:

• Exclusively use WMATA email and maintain access to WMATA VPN while billing to this Task Order.
• Ensure compliance for storage of all working files and final work products in pre-determined WMATA SharePoint Site.

Hybrid - minimum 3 days a week on sight

Skills and Requirements

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree and 15 years of experience in engineering and project management, managing, developing, designing, or delivering major transit infrastructure projects.
