Donaldson's Advanced Manufacturing Technology team is looking for a Principal Project Manager to be responsible for deploying complex capital equipment, processes and automation into Donaldson's global manufacturing plants. In this role you will lead and inspire cross-functional and multi-departmental teams of professionals to execute projects from concept to completion.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and management of capital automation equipment projects ranging from $100K to $20M
• Responsible for project initiation, capital requests, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Negotiate with internal Donaldson stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure project success and proactively resolve roadblocks
• Coordinate cross-functional support team and supplier activities
• Manage and coordinate contract administration activities to ensure positive customer relations while representing the interests of the company
• Communicate project status and progress to Donaldson Management, and other stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain project documents, budgets, and schedules
• Promote safety & facilitate equipment deployment by applying industry standards for automation equipment
• Develop and improve department processes and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience on complex projects
• Proven leadership qualities (setting pace, decisiveness, change management, ability to influence, communicate at all levels of the organization, organizational awareness)
• Ability to prioritize projects concurrently in a dynamic environment
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally - 15%

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification
• Experience with custom equipment
• Experience with automation and manufacturing processes
