Principal QA Engineer

About the Role:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of QA Platform Success, Agero is looking for a Principal QA Engineer who will help us maintain automation framework(s) across multiple projects and enterprise wide initiatives. Review major deliverables to ensure quality and compliance prior to delivery to customer and contribute to multi-functional teams in problem resolution and process improvement activities. 

 Key Outcomes:

• Utilize automation framework(s) across multiple projects to Automate & Execute Test Cases and Test Suites
• Establish and Promote quality measures and metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure that the team is using QA best practices
• Collaborate with QA leadership to architect, establish and evolve QA processes
• Ensure all projects meet functional requirements and map to QA test cases
• Partner closely with the engineering teams to replicate and resolve issues
• Develop testing requirements, test cases, and test plans.
• Create clearly documented plans, designs, and results
• Provide work estimates

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of experience with software testing, QA principles, test philosophies and methodologies
• Expert/SME level experience with Selenium 
• Working knowledge of Performance and Loads Testing
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
• Working knowledge of API Testing
• Any combination of the following is a plus:
• Working Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js
• Knowledge of Databases, GitHub, GraphQL
• Knowledge of test management solutions such as Zephyr Enterprise
• Experience in Mobile and/or IVR automation
• Ability to read code and identify issues
• Familiarity with Scrum Agile project management
