What you will do

As the global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, our mission is to reimagine the performance of buildings to serve people, places and the planet.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing test strategies along with test cases to ensure that quality exists in the products we deliver. You will be setting up test environments both hardware as well as software to meet the needs of the project to validate it within the building management system.

How you will do it
  • Work with others to develop test strategies and test plans - here a principal engineer will be the project lead providing assignments to other team members. They will report the progress of the project, as provide project level specifics for programs.
  • Obtain, setup and maintain test environments for validating quality exists within our products
  • Execute functional, integration, or system related tests while monitoring the progress of the project.
  • Prioritizing the work to accomplish the demanding changes to adhere to list of milestones, check points and measurable criteria to check the quality on a timely basis
  • Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are sent to all stakeholders
  • Provide technical assistance to other areas such as Manufacturing, Marketing and Quality Assurance
  • Maintain a high technical proficiency that meets rapidly changing technologies and skill requirements

What we look for

Required
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 3 years' experience within testing
  • Programming experience in Java, Selenium, Python, VScript, or other types of automation framework languages
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred
  • Domain knowledge of our product, Metasys
  • Experience with Controls Engineering
