Why this role
We’re looking for a self-starter to lead the design, creation, and testing of automation, deployment, and quality assurance tools for our custom web and mobile products.  Â
In this role, you will use your QA knowledge and automation testing experience to develop a solid automation strategy and lead the development of advanced frameworks/tools for test automation. You will help test new and exciting applications for both internal and external clients in the hospitality industry. You will work closely with our Product Team and other cross-functional development teams to design and implement world-class solutions. You will be responsible for writing and executing manual and automation test scripts and tracking defects as they arise and will coordinate with offshore teams working in different time zones.
What you’ll do
- Analyze all project-specific documentation that would help to develop test scenarios and test cases for complex projects.
- Lead the development of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual and automated test plans and test cases.Â
- Define and develop automation frameworks/tools to maximize regression test coverage for web applications, web services, and APIs
- Mentor other automation QA engineersÂ
- Perform manual and automated test execution to ensure applications meet business requirements
- Maintain tools used in test development, including source control, automation tooling, and test management systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
- Proactively identify, log and track issues as they arise and communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.
- Work within a fast-paced cross-functional team that follows the Agile development process.
- Follow defined quality assurance processes to ensure all projects meet testing standards.
What makes you a great fitÂ
- 8+ years of demonstrated ability in Software Quality Assurance and Software Automation Testing
- 3+ years’ experience testing Salesforce Applications preferredÂ
- Experience standing up new automation frameworks such Selenium and WebdriverIO for UI testing and building automation frameworks for API testing
- Working knowledge on tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Jira, Xray
- Proven and demonstrated experience of programming with Python, JavaScript, Typescript
- Experience with front-end and back-end testing
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience with industry standard QA practices (black box testing, risk-based testing, End-to-End testing, regression testing, exploratory testing practices)
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to partner technically with Architects, Development, QA/Testing organizations and Product teams
- Solid understanding of Agile, Iterative development process and methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively with minimal oversight
- Bachelor’s or high-level degrees preferred
Location
We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!
Compensation
For this role our salary range is $154,000 - $177,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
