Principal Research Associate - Immunology

• Independently execute in-vitro studies of immune diseases
• Develop assays to support discovery and early therapeutic development
• Analyze immune cell function using ELISAs, Luminex, qRT-PCR, and flow cytometry
• Assist in the generation and maintenance of written procedures and train others in research techniques
• Analyze, interpret, and organize data to prepare clearly articulated experimental reports and communicate results at internal meetings
• Maintain clear and accurate records of experiments and analysis in electronic notebook 

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or a relevant life sciences discipline with 12+ years of experience in laboratory research setting such as a biopharmaceutical or biotech company (title will be commensurate with level of experience) 
• Ability to efficiently manage time and workflow
• Develop SOPs and train others in research techniques
• Knowledge of the biology of immune diseases
• Experience establishing and optimizing in vitro assays 
• Hands-on experience in isolation, expansion and characterization of primary immune cells
• Sound judgement, strong communication skills, and experience working independently and collaboratively
• Experience working in a matrix environment
• Experience in multicolor flow cytometry and other immune assays
• High attention to detail, and solid record-keeping abilities
