Job Description:

Research and identify problems, anticipate effects across business communities, research best practice alternatives, prepare presentations, drive solutions, test to confirm, gain consensus from a broad business community, and implement customized solutions. Research, architect and implement machine learning model pipeline on google cloud including both AUTO ML, artificial neural networks and customized models. Refactor and improve the performance of existing models and software. Work closely with other modelers on the team and other engineering teams to optimize the company's data systems and pipeline architecture. Conduct complex statistical analyses and complete studies of real estate and mortgage related data. Apply machine learning and data mining techniques to discover patterns from complex residential property data. Performs modeling and analysis using various data mining, machine learning, statistical, and mathematical techniques. Drive the monitoring and re-engineering current models and their prototypes as needed, to improve and enhance core models and group research objectives. Conceive, lead and manage quantitative and qualitative research projects independently. Assess and communicate research results to internal and external stakeholders. Understand business requirements and conceptualize analytic solutions to those business problems. Regularly leads cross functional teams to research, define, and implement analytic solutions within a broad business function. Troubleshoot, guide others, and drive solutions on a wide variety of highly complex problems. Provide pre-sales and postsales analytic support for partners, prospects, and clients. Analyze the present model performance to partners, clients and prospects. < 5% domestic travel required per year. **Hybrid work is permissible. When not working from home, must report to Irving, TX office**

Job Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a closely related engineering field (or foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as a Machine Learning Scientist, in the job offered or a closely related occupation. In lieu of this, the Employer will accept a Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a closely related engineering field (or foreign equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience as a Machine Learning Scientist, in the job offered or a closely related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/knowledge includes:

Experience with GCP and building models in a cloud environment.

Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, R, C++, Scala.

Experience with big data such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc. Expertise in formulating business problems and designing analytic approaches.

Experience building ETL data pipeline.

Experience building Machine Learning pipeline including Model building, model tuning, deployment and improvement techniques.

Proficiency in SQL.

Proficiency in Logistic Regression, Time Series Analysis, Ensemble Learning Algorithms, Mixed Modeling, Multivariate Statistics, Large-Scale Predictive Modeling, XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forests, and Neural Networks. Proficiency in using Git for version control.
