In this role, you will work alongside with passionate IT security practitioners and product development teams to enforce and deploy best application security architecture practices with a focus on Generative AI technologies. You will join the Product Security team within ADP's Global Security Organization (GSO) that has a key role to drive the business forward with strategic capabilities to enable secure development and support of products, solutions, and services for use across the ADP ecosystem. The application security architects within the team have strong application security skills to provide guidance in proper security controls to ADP applications. You will conduct security architecture reviews and design reviews with a key focus on threat modeling of IT solutions that are incorporating generative AI technologies and mostly deployed in hybrid cloud environments. You have experience explaining the prioritization of the security controls to be integrated as part of our Secure by Design model that internal teams will understand. As the architect partners with all R&D teams at ADP, you will communicate to, motivate, and influence cross functional teams.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to have a solid understanding in secure software development lifecycle and DevSecOps principles, and a solid understanding of technologies, including APIs, distributed systems design including cloud environments like AWS and Azure. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• Consultation. You will consult with various organizations on existing and proposed application architectures to help the product teams in identifying threats and to provide security requirements and best practices or to identify gaps.
• Influence over Developers and Architects. You will communicate with engineers and other technologists giving them confidence you understand their challenges. Influence them to adopt secure functionality and strengthen security maturity. Provide them with support on challenging issues and hold them accountable.
• Controls Prioritization. You will prioritize technical controls based on risk-based criticality. Ensure architects are focused on most critical standards and controls. Work with R&D at global scale to implement the most critical controls, and to identify and quickly remediate the most critical vulnerabilities. You will also partner with other security and IT teams to launch proactive assessments of these most critical controls.
• Continuous Learning. An eagerness to learn will help you keep up with ever-changing technologies and threat landscape and maintain the ability to assess new technologies and new developed products. You are comfortable and thrive in an autonomous role since that will be essential for your success.
• Policies and Standards. You will collaborate in maintaining and enhancing the application security policies and standards.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You have 10+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies including Generative AI solutions and Large Language Models.
• Experience in performing architecture review of LLM' and providing security requirements.
• Experience with multiple generative AI solutions e.g. Open AI, AWS Titan and Bedrock.
• Experience in application security architecture in enterprise class organization.
• Expertise in application development across multiple languages and platforms, including APIs.
• Expertise is Secure Software Development Life Cycle and DevSecOps.
• Experience in securing cloud environment and containers.
• Possess significant knowledge of Application Security, Web Application Design, Information Security, Databases, Common Coding practices.
• Expertise in building application-level Security, Risk and Privacy controls into cloud applications.
• Knowledge of data encryption and key management.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management systems.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and threat modeling (STRIDE-LM).
• Familiar with NIST Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF), OWASP Projects (Top 10, Software Assurance Maturity Model, etc.).
• Must be able to function in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities.
• Demonstrate well-developed organizational, written communication, and analytical skills.
• CISSP and other security certifications preferred.
