Comcast's Technology, Product & Experience organization works at the intersection of media and technology. Our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products that transform the customer experience. Some roles can work virtual full-time if they are not near a Tech Hub, but that is dependent upon the needs of the position and amount of collaboration required.

The team is forward-thinking and high impact, working in a highly collaborative, interactive, upbeat environment that encourages each member to learn and challenge ideas. The members of the team are situated for valuable exposure in Comcast, working closely with product owners, operations, vendors, engineering teams, and leadership stakeholders. Our success is driven by understanding the customer requirements and implementing their vision. Our goal of developing, testing, integrating products, and bringing them to the market, while also exploring and researching new and upcoming offering from multiple technology vendors, will help shape Comcast's future roadmap.

Core Responsibilities
- Perform End to End (E2E) system integration of security based solutions supporting Mid-Sized business partners.
- Works with other members of multi-functional teams, joint ventures, third party vendors and Company's Product Management teams to deliver quality products, on schedule, that meet defined requirements.
- Participates in the Company product lifecycle process, contributes to and/or creates product and technical requirements, detailed design documents including transaction, capacity and bandwidth models, systems definitions and operational procedures as part of this process.
- Ensures that projects are properly accepted into the engineering team, worked on time and efficient manner and smoothly transitioned into Quality Assurance and Operations teams.
- Provides guidance and accepts accountability for the performance and reliability of various cross-platform applications and services and ensures that system failures are restored in a timely manner.
- Develops state-of-the art solutions to improve on technology and business applications.
- Handle the relationships with in-scope lines of business, customers, suppliers and stakeholders ensuring the integrity of the products and services
- Identifies and recommends areas requiring change or modification
- Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the ecosystem
- Reviews, recommend, and design standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the business process and goals
- Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards
- Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the product's architecture needs
Technical Requirements
- SDWAN Networking (or comparable network engineering experience)
- Experience with load testing, strike packs, IXIA, and Breaking Point
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Versa
Required Skills
- Experience as senior engineer/architect for MSO's, enterprises, and large companies
- In-depth experience, expertise, and knowledge in network security, compliance, security controls
- Expert in security infrastructure such as next generation firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), vulnerability scanning, and unified threat management (UTM)
- Experience with Linux and hosts/systems/servers/containers, Windows servers, VMWare, and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-based technology and public cloud infrastructure including AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of hardware, embedded software, and application architectures to communicate technology requirements to related teams
