The Software Engineering team for Department 22 / Advanced Mission Systems (AMS) requires an experienced Software Engineer with proven experience in developing innovative solutions that meet war-fighter needs to support the D22 business area relating to Multi-Function Engineering Systems.

Required skills:

Experience in embedded software design, integration, and test utilizing C, C++, and/or C# or similar languages

Must have an Active or Current DoD Security Clearance on Day 1 of employment

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a

minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Desired Skills:

Some experience developing applications on embedded Linux or real-time operating systems (RTOS)

Experience developing software on Xilinx or Intel SoC/FPGA platforms

Experience developing real-time signal processing systems

Experience with Agile development processes

Experience or exposure to model-based design using MATLAB or Simulink

Some experience or exposure to software algorithm development

Domain knowledge in Electronic Warfare, Radar, or Signals Intelligence

Experience working on cutting-edge research, prototype, development, and transition

Experience or exposure to HTTP user interface architecture for embedded systems

Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as excellent written/verbal communication skills
